Animal keeper hangouts and feeding times

Have you always wondered what the lions in the Zoo are called, or which orangutan is the most patient? At our animal keeper hangouts, you have the opportunity to get to know our animal keepers and their animals and to put your questions to the people whose job it is to take care of the animals each and every day. Our animal keepers will be there to meet you at the times shown on the hangout sign. In addition to a short talk from the keeper, you may also have the chance to watch the animals being fed. Our animal keepers do not provide commentary during animal feeding - the focus here is on observing and experiencing the animals.

You do not need to register for the animal keeper hangouts, simply go to the respective enclosure at the times shown.
