world snow leopard day

23 October is World Snow Leopard Day. From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., we have lots of exciting things for you to learn about the animals known as “ghost cats”, and lots of activities for you to enjoy. Go in search of clues and find out more about these impressive animals at various locations around the zoo. Transponder wristbands are available to borrow to enable you to track your quest (EUR 5 deposit): they record your routes and behaviour, which will then be evaluated at the TU Dresden’s Sports Club campaign stand. Discover exactly what this orienteering activity has to do with snow leopards at our zoo scouts’ activity stand, where you’ll can also see a real snow leopard skin and try your hand at some tricky puzzles and other fun activities.
