Easter at the zoo

There’s an exciting Easter programme in store for visitors to the zoo on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Youngsters can be transformed into their favourite animal at our face painting stations or make their own Easter gifts. The Glöckchen Puppet Theatre is performing at the Kasper Haus (10:30 am / 1:30 pm / 3:00 pm) and children can pay a visit to the ’Easter Bunny’ in the rabbit village, and test their knowledge with the egg quiz. There will be plenty of fun Easter surprises for our animals as well, with the orangutans, giraffes, donkeys, meerkats, porcupines, tamanduas and others getting seasonal treats to enjoy.

We also have an Easter quiz trail for explorers of all ages, where you can discover our young animals and new arrivals here at the zoo – with a bit of luck you might even win a great prize. The quiz trail will run throughout the Easter holidays.
