Tierra goes to Ùstí nad Labem

Animal news | 16 March 2021

The two young snow leopards Tierra and Kafka exploring the outdoor enclosure.

Yesterday we said goodbye to our young female snow leopard Tierra, who has gone to live with young male Cristi just across the border at Ústí nad Labem Zoo. Now nearly two years old, the snow leopard and her twin brother Kafka were born in Dresden on 18 April 2019. Kafka too will soon be leaving our zoo for a new life at Servion Zoo in Switzerland. All being well, he is set to depart in April.
