"Family Dixieland" event

The Sächsische Zeitung’s big family festival. With games, excitement, handicrafts, face painting and prizes, as well as jazz and dixie bands on two stages, you’ll go wild with delight.
In 2024, Dresden’s eight-day INTERNATIONAL DIXIELAND FESTIVAL opens, as is tradition, with the “Family Dixieland” event at Dresden Zoo. During the taster from “Dixieland ABC for Children”, young music fans can learn all about jazz, instruments, and so much more ‒ time to join in, dance, clap, snap your fingers and jump up and down to the song “Hey”!
