Africa calling – Africa house opening

Zoo Director Karl-Heinz Ukena was joined by Board Chairman Detlef Sittel and the Mayor of Dresden to open the newly renovated Africa house to visitors today. from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

from 8:30 am to 6:30 pm

from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

... winter (from 01/11/2018)*
from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm
* on 24/12 & 31/12 open to 3 pm
and ticket desk closes at 2 pm

Ticket desk closes 45 minutes before the zoo closes.

From Easter, the Zoo will once again be filled with cheerful music, games, discovery and natural marvels. Visitors to the Zoo, both young and old, can look forward to a programme of exciting and entertaining events. Animal lovers will experience a fun way to learn more about species conservation, environmental protection and of course our Zoo's inhabitants. There's something for everyone here!
