Max forever

Not only was Max one of the Zoo's oldest inhabitants, he was also one of the most popular. Sadly Max passed away in June 2015 at the age of nearly 60. But now this visitor favourite is coming back – or at least part of him is. A replica of his skull will be on display in the Prof. Brandes House at Dresden Zoo,... show news show all news

From Easter, the Zoo will once again be filled with cheerful music, games, discovery and natural marvels. Visitors to the Zoo, both young and old, can look forward to a programme of exciting and entertaining events. Animal lovers will experience a fun way to learn more about species conservation, environmental protection and of course our Zoo's inhabitants. There's something for everyone here!
